Double-blind peer review

Global Review of Artificial Intelligence and Technology uses double-blind peer review, preserving the anonymity of authors and reviewers throughout the process.

1) Editorial screening (desk review)
All manuscripts are screened by the Editor-in-Chief or the editorial team, who check their fit with the journal's scope, the submission guidelines and ethical and scientific standards. Manuscripts that do not meet these requirements may be rejected at this stage.

2) Peer review
Manuscripts that pass the screening are sent to at least two external reviewers with expertise in the topic and methodological approach of the work.

3) Editorial decision
Based on the reviews, the decision may be: accepted; accepted with revisions; revise and resubmit; or rejected. When revisions are required, authors submit the revised version together with a response to the recommendations, and the editor checks that they were addressed before final acceptance.

4) Publication
The journal publishes on a rolling basis. Acceptance does not mean immediate publication: the publication schedule takes into account the institutional and regional diversity of authors.

5) Ethics and integrity
The journal reserves the right to reject manuscripts that do not comply with the submission guidelines or the required scientific standards, and follows the COPE guidance described in its Ethics Code.
